What day is July 4, 2001? That's right! It's the United States' 225th Birthday (Independence Day). On this day, people go to watch parades, go on picnics, or play outside with family and friends. I want to play with my students, too, and have a picnic. So, there's going to be the Second American Independence Day Miniature Golf and Hamburger Day. We will play miniature golf, and eat American-style hamburgers. And, after looking at everyone's scores, it will be prize time! Let's enjoy ourselves!

From kindergarteners to high school students, I want all my students to come and join. This year we are going to play ground golf, so you are going to need a little more power than when you play miniature golf. Do your best, OK? If you think you can't do well by yourself, you may invite one adult to come with you. Sorry, but adults do not get a prize. Also, no children who are not students may join.

Time: July 1, 2001 (Sunday) (If it rains, then July 8 [Sunday])
Place: Yunoyama Sports Club (In front of Komono U-Store)
Time: Arrive by 9:45 for a 10:00 start
Fee: Kindergarteners: 1400 yen
  Elementary School: 2100 yen
  Jr./Sr. High School: 2400 yen
  Adults: 2200 yen

The deadline for registration is June 22. Sorry, no late registration allowed. If you are late, please join in next year. Please pay the fee with your registration. I will give you more details on June 25. Come and join the event!
